Default Baffle OOPS

I saw the youtube video where they drill out the baffles on the cbr1000. Whats the worst that could happen if the peices did not come out when drilled?

probbly blow out when you rev the engine... if you like, you can unhook the exhaust (probbly have to take some fairing off) and then make sure you get all the slivers out..

If they dont come out or you dont get them out you may get a little rattle but other than that you should be O.K.

If you happen to lose a piece in the exhaust like I almost did but got it out by is by taking you and a buddy lift the front up and hold the rear brake and it will fall out. I sounds so much better then stock. I am about to do it to my friends 1000rr too and will take lots of pictures and maybe some video and post it.

Idid the mod also. Itsounds better till you can get a new exhaust! As far as the oops it is pretty easy, just follow the you tube directions( let the drill stop before taking it out of your exhaust) GOOD LUCK!

LOL, your hole saw didn't have a center pin, huh? The WORST that could happen is that the large circular piece could lodge itself somewhere in the exhaust and seriously impede exhaust flow. Likely? Probably not. I personally would want the pieces out before I rode anywhere. Is the exhaust valve closed when the bike is off? It may not have fallen too far.
