RE: AWESOME DEAL?!
let me guess...it's a great deal becasue the guy has moved to the UK, or Germany(or whatever)and his bike is still here in the US...just send the money western union to a third party and he'll ship the bike. Sound about right? Nigerian scam...Craig's List has a couple in every market on any given day. About 3 weeks ago the San Francisco Craig's List had a 2006 Yamaha R1 LE (anniversary edition)...bike sold for $18k new...they wanted like $3450 for it.

RE: AWESOME DEAL?!
where is it at? ill buy it hot or not lol. if the bike is stolen buy a new frame with a clean title and swap frames and you would still have a good deal. or if you could hold onto it for a while check with the dmv to see if its stolen, if it is they will usually release a new title for it after a certain time period from the date it was reported stolen (i dont know how long it takes for them to be able to do that). my brother had a bike that was given to him because it had been in a wreck and he was going to fix it and keep it but he found out it was stolen and gave it to a friend of his cause he didnt want to get caught with it. i guess the guy rebuilt it asked for a new title and registered the thing with no problems. it was a 97 though so like i said i dont know how soon they will allow you to re-register a previously stolen bike but it can happen lol.
