To some of you that have had my kinda luck and scratched up your baby, where and how much did the plastics cost? To make a long story short, after about a 40 mile chase from Troopers, Sherriffs, and Police I got away but not totally cost free. (just in case this is fictional) I went to turn in on a cut-thru road and hit some sand. My left middle and lower fairings need replacing. I have a the titanium 1000 and rather get the same colors with stickers already.

 

With a total population in E***, AL of just over 1000 I'd say it'd be silly to admit anything on an internet board. For the plastics contact Sirlimpalot -- he's got his own sub-forum on here -- Apex Motorsports.

If you did this dumbass act of running from the man in your own home town, may I suggest putting all new plastics of another color on your bike? There has been a ton of CBR1000rr plastics on Ebay lately, I'd check there.

FWiW his prices are almost 25-35 percent lower than retail and the only one that comes close to him is outta NC

Well, my story is a bit different....
I parked my bike in the shopping mall parking lot and went inside for a while. When I came out of the mall, I saw some guys I know who were parked 2 rows from where I was. I got on my bike and moved it over two rows. A couple of minutes later, two patrol cars showed up and wrote me a ticket for "riding a motorcycle without a helmet". I tried to explain that I was under the impression that I was on private property and asked them to make it a warning ticket since it was a parking lot. No luck and therefore, I'm going to fight this in court. Does any one in GA have experience with this kind of ticket? It's no wonder that cops have a bad reputation around here.
