Default Adjustable rearsets?

I'm almost 6'4" 235lbs and am considering more room for the heck of it. Ive got a '09 repsol and it's not bad at all, but I'm wondering what all is involved with adjusting the peg placement. Opinions welcome. Also pros/cons please.

Thanks in advance.

Only one con I can think of and that's hiting the foot leg on the ground if you set them a lot lower, pros are more comfortable seating position on the bike and can adjust them to a perfect position to access your shifter and rear brake easily and comfortably. Which in turn leads to better positioning and control for comers and reaction and such

Putting on a new set of rear sets isn't complicated just trial and error on finding where you want them set at

Few rearsets, if any, allow you to lower the peg position. They'll let you move the peg position backwards, which might give you more room, but you'd have to bend your knees more. Make sure when you inquire about rearsets to make sure they will let you lower the peg position.

hey guys, my bike has the vortex road race rearsets on it. These particular rearsets are adjustable in all four directions. I haven't moved them, but it doesnt look complicated. It appears to be two allen head bolts on each side and then adjust the shift rod once you set the pegs.

Wy4tt, i forgot to mention I am very similar size to you. I am also 6'4" and 240lbs. My pegs are set pretty much in the middle. I have four vertical positions and i believe three lateral.
