Dude what state do you people live in???????????????????? Here in Los angeles a 2005 cbr1000rr goes for $10,200 OTD and the 2006 cbr1000rr for $11.300otd. If you live in California please tell me what dealer your getting these prices from so i can get me one :) thnx

Mate i just went through what you are asking!!! So what i did was weigh up what i wanted from the bike and what your skills can handle?

I moved off a R6 and felt i was ready to move to a 1000....It is a overwhelming thing when you hop on a hyper bike for the first time, you are ****ting yourself and all excited at the same time!!! I test rode both and found the handling to be similar ( but the dampner will take a bit to get used to ) But for me it was the power delivery that sold me, i found with the 600 you have to wring its neck to get the power out of it but with the 1000 its alot more torque so the power is there in every gear..

This is just my point of view and i thought i would share it with you as you have the decision i just had to make.
