If its the same one I have seen before. That same article was in maxim magazine or stuff one of those two. It also had a picture of the kid with his bike. It was an RC 51!!!. The pic of the bike was stock. When does a stock RC 51 beat even the speed king himself the busa. I am just pondering that one.

 

It was a kid from Minneapolis caught in Wisconsin speeding. He wasnt going 205mph. That we all know. This was last year this happened. He was on Jay Leno and everything all over a cop in a plane that cant operate a stop watch correctly. He did not fight it just to have the fastest speeding ticket ever given out. What a meat head. "A slightly modded bike can easily reach 200mph eh?" I doubt that severely. A heavily turbo'd bike.......well, probably. But not slightly modded. A pipe and filter/pwr commander wont net you 200mph on anything, not even the mighty Busa. "unless he's wearing the protective gear of a professional, he's flirting with death". ????Really? Even WITH all that good stuff, he may survive the slide, but the impact on what ever he WILL hit will kill him forsure.

 

With lower/higher sprockets, it could hit that fast, not very timely, but it will do it.

 

Actually, no he won't. With just sprockets and simple mods the bike just doesn't have enough power.

 

The guys that work on his bike also dyno mine. They say no way was he going that fast.

 

Anyone notice the date on that post?

Old news.

 

True it is old news but what is interesting is that some of the posts have convinced me that the Police were wrong.Granted he was speeding but I dont belive he was doing 205 mph.
