2008 Honda CBR1000RR: Cloaked In Secrecy

Honda debuted a bunch of new models to the dealers last night but one that they did not unveil to their dealers is the 2008 CBR1000RR. We're told that no public unveiling is planned.
Presumably, Honda does not want their competitors to see the all new CBR1000--which is said to be a major change from previous 1000RR models--until September 28.
There are at least two 2008 CBR1000RRs at the Anaheim show, but they are kept in a safe room, and we're told dealers can only view the bikes after security makes sure that they do not have any type of camera on their person.

There are pics floating around on other forums of a real bike at the dealer show. What you are seeing is the real deal
Not only did Honda pull pics from their site, they had other motorcycle websites pull the pics down also and all '08 bashing threads on the 1000rr.net forum CLOSED.
I doubt they're changing anything. They are probably calling in all the marketing folks to figure out how to spin this visual design embarassment.
