whats with the curly Q pipes on some? compensate for the fact that a short pipe doesn't make enough back pressure or something?

 

any of you 08 guys have any ridin videos where you can hear the stock exhuast? I think the pipe looks pretty good but I'm guessin it's a little quiet for most people.

 

I love my stock exhaust so far, under 50mph its a silent normal stock exhaust once you hit 50 the double flapper opens up and it sounds like a low growl like a twobro's it's really nice sounding.

 

I like the stock one better. BTW, I'm getting LE black one too. How do you like black? any regret? cuz I have a couple of days to change my mind.

 

man my black LE is awesome I LOVE it.. but be warned the clear coat on is BLOWS just washing the bike leaves light scraches enough to be seen in a reflection of a light. however it's nothing major and if you wanted to could get recleared fairly cheap.

but the LE has all the pegs powder coated black and it looks great imo i'd get the red black or the LE but everyones trying to get the LE so i'd pick it up

Any one know if akrapovic has a slip on for the 08 yet or maybe when they will? All I could find from them is a full system.
