The bike looks pretty damn impressive in the video. I can't believe how smooth it looked around the track considering the camera was mounted on the tank. It seems to haveawesome acceleration. I wish the tach and speedo would have been in clear view. As far as the looks, I do think the previous generation CBR's look better. But, the newCBR willprobably performbetter and is much lighter.Thats what I miss aboutthe 954 I traded in on my 06' 1000rr.It was so light and smaller feeling than the 06'.Imost likelywill be keeping my 06' even though the 08' will out perform it. I admit. I don't need the extra perfomance anyway. I can't take the 06' to its full potential and probably never will. I'll justbehappy when I finish paying for the damn thing

Still not sold on the looks. The profile of the front-end looks strange. Maybe it will grow on me.

The slipper clutch and the new throttle tech will absolutely be felt on the road.

Seriously, you have a total of 4 posts and 3 of them are plugging Suzuki. [sm=sleeping.gif]

Just to keep your ego in check, although you have the almighty gixxer, there are plenty of people of this forum that can put you in your place on the racetrack (and it won't be first place).

To keep my ego in check, I am not one of those people.

Its suppose to be a way better bike as far as performance... But I seen the pics, seen & sat on it @ the DC bike show, & still don't like how it looks myself... I trying to like it & hope it grows on me, but think I'm gonna stick with my '05 600rr & see what the 2010/12 looks like.
