Default 2006 CBR1k Helibar Install Help

I recently bought a 2006 CBR1000RR with only 4,600 miles. The bike is stock and I want to install Helibars as they are too low for me. L put a message into an existing blog but it is 6 years old and have not received any responses so I am trying a new thread.
I need to find someone with direct experience installing Helibars on a 2006-2007 model. The OP in the old threat said he had to turn the throttle upside down, but the Helibar instructions do not say this. It looks like he moved his electrical cables outside the fork but again nothing in the instructions.
The instructions are on a 2008 model which has a mechanical clutch so I am concerned if the clutch hydraulic line will work as is.
The throttle uses a pin that has to locate in a hole in the bars so how can the throttle be rotated 180 degrees?
I love the bike but I may have to sell the it if I can’t get the comfort level up a bit so I hope someone here can help.

On a faired sports bike, they can be a bugger to fit. You could opt instead for a riser kit such as the following:

If it is just the throttle that is your problem, then just drill another hole in the bar 180 deg opposite the existing one.

Thanks for the info. Looks like that is what I will need to do.
