Looks pretty nice in person... They have three at North Jackson Honda in Jackson, MS. The Blue and Gold/Yellow is still there but is sold, but the gray/silver and pure black remain. Black/Red must have sold right away... Unsure of the asking price, but they are quite nice.

Obvious changes with the Higher RPM, Headlight Fairing, Side Fairings and exhaust areas - but remaining 207 changes are hidden well. Can't tell the swing arm is shorter(10mm) or the rake has been changed... Novice eyeballs just can't pick it up - but the weight change is slightly noticeable...

I wonder if they'll offer a Repsol Edition - Not really possible with so much fairing removed which would leave you with RE on one side and SOL on the other!

Nice changes, but I'll keep the Repsol for awhile - The Blue and Gold/Yellow is alot better in person!

Guess I could up the 40T Sprocket like the 42T on the 06'

ok hears what i have found out. i rode a 600rr for two years beforse steeping up to the 1000 rr just thought i needed the tme on a smaller rocket before the 1000 rr . the weight differance is 20 pounds between the 600 rr and the 1000 rr the length is 1/2 " . the 2006 still has the electronic steering damper that works well. my 600 rr i had a csr manual damper and the feel was quite differant. the electonic does not come in to play until high speeds and corning mine seems to work well . i have had corners at 130 no problem now mind you a long sweeping corner. as for the 20 pounds you cannot even tell it is their they balanced this bike so well you cant even fell it a bike with 170 hp to the crank and 149.5 to the rear tire 20 pounds is nothing. remember the speeds and runs you read about are professional riders in perfect enviroments but be assured all of the liter bikes are quick.i do no that the extra padding in the seat of the 1000 rr really makes a differance from the 600 rr more comfort for those long rides. just rember their are over 60 reimfiments to the new 2006 rr. it is an all new bread the handling is quicker the ride softer the power delivery a little more quicker the gear box was changed the forks were inverted bigger front disc differant valves and timming just a lot of racing development went into this bike to step up to the gx and r1.
