do you want sound or power

the arata and sato are dynoing up to a 10hp increase in some cases with a good custom tune on a pc3

yosh although 1/4 the price of either of those is only getting 5-6 on average

as far as slip or full

it depends on what you want to do

even a yosh full system will not give as much power as an arata/sato slip on

go to www.1000rr.net

there are tons of dyno charts posted for arata, satos, etc etc

also for sound clips

I used the yosh (ss rs5) and love it !! Is about as cheap as you can buy one for, for that bike anyway, and coming off an 02 f4i, the 1krr seems like it has more hp than i'll ever really know how to use anyway !! Unless your a dyno junky, or just like to have "the best" ie most expensive, the yosh is all that and a lil change to boot.

I had a yoshi RS-5 slip on and thought it was good...?
But I bought a full system from Micron as they done a whole redesign for 06' and it is the bomb. It has made more power all the way through the rev range, not just on top like some! The only downside to this system, is it is on the load side! It does quiet down alittle after you put some kays into it...But most peps tell me it sounds tough!!!

I live in Australia so the price here is different! I paid AU$2200 for the whole system installed! the akropovic full titainium was AU$2250... the yoshi slip on i paid AU$1150...
But I think it is much cheaper in the US!

here is some food for thought! I paid $20,099 for my 06' 1krr when she was first released! I was one of the first to get it of the showroom floor and the shop I got it from was the first to have it for sale. At $20,099 full price is what I paid cause I wanted to be one of the first! Now that it has been out for 8months you can get one for $18,990.... How much can you get them in the US? I am pretty sure the only difference between the two specs is I have Flash to pass switch, H.I.S.S, Catalaconverter, 02sensor and in Australia we have more strict pollution requirements, So maybe different mapping??? Besides that I think they are pretty much the same? But the price difference is unbelievable! We get ripped here in OZ!

What is the exchange rate ? About ? New in Stl Mo(midwest) anyway, new is about 11,200. Picked mine up used w/1500 miles on it for 9k. Might have over paid just a lil, but it was clean w/out a scratch and no goofy mods i was gonna have to fix, cept he did take the mirrors off, don't ask me why. Glad we don't have to deal w/the verter n 02's n all that !! If its sold in Cali they have all that on em tho. Price doesn't seem to have slowed you down from modding it !! That is one impressive (ie expensive) list o mods your sportin !! Get me a list of stuff you want and i'll send it to you !! For a small fee of course
