Default 2 Bros Exhaust Questions

Hey Guys.....I put the 2 Brothers V A L E 2 Carbon Fiber Can on my Repsol and I am starting to see some problems. I followed the instructions to the tee by disconnecting the exhaust servo and such. I did not install a power commander because everyone that posted about putting one on said it wasnt necessary. Any suggestions or comments that might put me on the right track?

What kind of problems? I have a carbon fiber Micron pipe and I noticed an improved difference when I replaced the stock map with with a Micron map on my PC III.

Did you just disconnect the flapper or did you get rid of the whole lot?

The flapper is inside the stock exhaust so it's bye-bye. When you disconnected the servo did you fully remove the cables? Since you didn't make clear what problems you're having I'll just suggest that you make sure the servo cables are gone and that the servo motor is hooked up. Turn it by hand a little then turn the key to the 'on' position -- servo should turn back to its home position. If that don't fix ya up you'll have to be more pacific.

Sorry Guys for not listing the problems.........Bike now has a off idle stumble and is running rich.....I did disconnect the servo cables and remove them completely. The servo is still in place and plugged in.

Have you tried turning the servo with the bike off and seeing if it homes itself when the ignition is on? The 1kRR's have generally taken well to pipes and things. There are lots of wires in that area -- maybe check to make sure none got disconnected by accident.

You might want to invest in a powercommander to solve the idle, and running rich problem.
