1st checkup?

Default 1st checkup?

Whats up everyone I have the blue and yellow 06 cbr 1000 rr and it is time for its first check up.Is this something i can do myself or does this bike have to have any major adjustments other than the chain.

all the bikes ive ever owned i never did the deal 600mile robbery. I just change the oil, check the chain
and adjust the throttle if needed. However I never have had to adjust the throttle. Unless someone
else out there knows something i dont. Keep you money and by a mod.

and by the way isnt the 06 RR the feakin HEAT!

service manager at the dealership told me to keep receits and do it myself.

I really appreciate the info Logan what oil brand is recomended for this bike?

I just had my first service today on an '06 RR. Typically I change the oil myself, but for the first service I prefer the dealer do it. They actually adjusted a lot of stuff. The engine seems quieter, or less rattly. They tightened the chain as well. It feels better overall. Plus I didn't have to screw with getting rid of old oil. Was it worth $130? Let's just say it was close. I'll probably change my own oil here on out though.

bad cbr, just do it yourself and at a 1000miles you dont think the bike is right take it to the dealer. but like Logan said, the service mgr told him to do it and keep the receipts. Good luck.

130$?-my dealer charges $80
