all the bikes ive ever owned i never did the deal 600mile robbery. I just change the oil, check the chain
and adjust the throttle if needed. However I never have had to adjust the throttle. Unless someone
else out there knows something i dont. Keep you money and by a mod.

I just had my first service today on an '06 RR. Typically I change the oil myself, but for the first service I prefer the dealer do it. They actually adjusted a lot of stuff. The engine seems quieter, or less rattly. They tightened the chain as well. It feels better overall. Plus I didn't have to screw with getting rid of old oil. Was it worth $130? Let's just say it was close. I'll probably change my own oil here on out though.
