Default 180mph..

hey everyone.. just had to post up some honda pride.. there was a local biker rally up here this past weekend and all the harley guys invited some sportbike guys to come to the event.. so we did.. they let us on a closed airstrip that used to be used to land b-52's. we had a 2 mile airstrip.. we set up cones at every 1/4 mile up untill one mile and that is where the guy with the radar stood... so we had a mile to get up to speed and a mile to slow back down.. i have an 06 cbr 100rr with a yoshi slip on.. my speed was 180mph on radar.. my speedo was reading 186 when i went by the radar to that means my speedo is 6mph off.. the only faster bikes there was an 03 busa which got 185 and my uncle's zx-14 which also got 185.. it's funny cause i did a run on my uncle's zx-14 cause i weigh about 100lbs lighter than him and it took me longer to get up to speed on that than on my cbr.. also there was ONE gixxer that got 180 with a girl on it that weighed about 90lbs.. and that gixxer had alooot of mods.. i thought it was cool cause there were alot of r-1's and gixxers that couldn't touch me... anyone else ever do top end radar runs?? let me know how it went!

bikes are electronically speed limited to 189 (or was it 187... whatever 300kph translates down to) mph. without sprocket help, you'll never see faster than that.

Oh man what an unforgettable day. What I would do for that opportunity! Curious, is going that fast 170-180 a lot different than going 140-150? Just curious since I'll never find out on my F4i LOL.

It feels great.. Your helmet is super close to you mouth... What was a small and fit pretty tight, becomes a xl and theres room.. Just what ever you do, don't do over 160 w/o being under the windscreen.
