state farm is the only way to go if you want full coverage. they look at the cc of the bike not the class. so for my gsxr 750 id paid 45 month and cbr 1k is 60 a month.

I checked out State Farm, but found the best rate with Farm Bureau. I'm 28, married, with a kid, clean driving record.

For a motorcycle only policy on my 07 CBR 1000 RR, it's $300 for a 6 month policy, FULL coverage. That's 100/300/100 coverages, $0 comp deductible, $500 coll deductible.

When I swapped my home insurance, 2008 Volvo XC90 and 1974 Volvo 164 over to the same company, my premiums when to $700 for 6 months, same coverages and deductibles for ALL THREE VEHICLES!!!

FYI, I had Foremost insurance quote me $3200 for a 6 month policy with worse coverages, and Progressive quoted me $3700. So DEFINITELY shop around, as there is a huge swing between those who want your business, and those who would clearly prefer to rape you up the *** without even the courtesy of a reach around.
