How they feeling? Dyno runs? Roll-ons with other bikes? Pipes? How many of you guys are even seeing a black model in a showroom?

 

Saw a special edition black in the showroom yesterday. Awesome bike. However, they are treating them like gold, and pretty much want sticker for them.

Thinking about making the jump from my F4i, but with sticker prices on the new 1000RR, I might just move to a new 600RR. All things considered (insurance, tires, cost), I don't know if I want to make that big of a change....

 

i have a LE. also a black 06. the roll ons are huge for difference. the bike is night and day. there are too many "feels" to type here. if you weer able to ride them then you would agree. i have 1400 miles so far and would not trade it for da world. i will NEVER get rid of this bike.

 

...I've no doubt they are awesome. But did you pay sticker? That's a tough pill to swallow.

 

I also picked up 1 of the LEs. There were only 3 in the state (2 at one dealer). I got it for about $500 under list and no freight or shipping. Also gotthem down to $50 for rear cowl and promise of an exhaust at cost when I decide on 1 (+ a few small freebies). Decent deal for an LEI guess

if you have to pay sticker you are a terrible negotiator but it is worth every penny.

 

My Blk/Silver CBR 08' is SUPERB ! Worth every penny although I also paid slightly under the msrp. With already 1,200 miles it seems like I don't ever wanna stop riding her...

Talk about the "feel" ...it's like NO bike I've ever riddin and I've been riding for quite some time now..

Honda did their homework in creating a performance machine.

Mods installed already: 2 Brothers short slip-on exhaust, puig black color windscreen,black tank pad, power commander III, custom map and yep... dyno this baby ! Awaiting before/after dyno results..

I'we had an 2005 R1 and a Buell xb12s 2006 with race ecm and Drummer ss muff. The 08 cbr that I got now have the nimbleness and low grunt tourque of the buell and the kick *** power of the R1 and a realy powerfull midrange. Its the best of both worlds...

 

Everywhere I go bikers and non bikers alike just stop and look at this beautiful machine. That, as much as the unbelievable ride makes it worth every penny. I have the black European model, it is slightly different to the USA LE as we got gold covers and you got black, I have fitted R&G tail tidy but apart from that my bike is stock and still a head turner.
