Hmmm I think I will keep my 06. Plus I don't want to give up all the extras I have done to it and start over.

It is ok Onarom. It don't bother me we all have diffrent tastes and likes about our bikes. It actually made me laugh cause fora min I thought I was on another forum where all they do is put people down if they did not like the same thing. But as I said if I wanted to start a war with him it would not have been hard not to.

A Sh*t-Zuki or a Kawajunki? I'm sorry...you must be lost. Those forums are down the hall, turn left, second door on your right. [sm=wtf.gif]

I don't have the '04 pig anymore as I sold it while I could still get decent money for it. I'll have the '08 1000RR in a few months though. I appoligize wholeheartedly for my sarcasm that was lost in translation. [sm=imsorry.gif] Seeing as you are from Florida there would be no reason to be able to turn the bike as it was designed to turn. [sm=nxsmile.gif]?

IMHO --- FUGLY.

Seriously folks. I went to the Cycleworld show in Ft. Worth and saw it / sat on it. It has some cool features but is not that much of a dramatic departure from the 07. Plus - there's no Repsol edition (Thanks Nicky.... []) Plus - I can't get over that PUG nose look of the fairing.

Very few of us base our decisions on motorcycles on tech specs alone. Buying a motorcycle is as much an emotional decision as anything. When I saw the 05 and 07 CBR 1000s, I was floored. This current bike just doesn't do it for me. I also doubt that one will be able to tell the difference between the bikes performance-wise unless you're *****-out on a track. If that's your thing, you're likely to replace much of the stock bits and have a completely new bike in the end. Replace the dampener, upgrade shocks, brakes, exhaust, track plastics, etc...

Not knocking anyone thinking about buying the 08 because you are gonna have an awesome bike. I just think Honda screwed up the styling and they will quickly fix that pugnose by the time the 09's come.
