There is a guy parting out a 07 1000rr and I have a 08 so I called the local dealer and they are just dumb a**es.. You guys have been helping me out alot on this project I got going and I appreciate all your input and comments... Are any of these parts compatible? (fairing stay, radiator,rear seat, footrest, mirrors, rear fairing)

 

What questions did you ask them? They should have helped you as much as they could. Not only might you spend $ there, but aslo word of mouth is a powerful thing. Usually when someone calls us we try to help them out as much as possible.

The 07 & 08 CBR 1000s are different bikes all around. They were redesigned in 08. 03-07 is basically the same bike with a few exceptions. In 08 the engine, fairings & stays, seats, tail section, radiator are all different. I cant tell you if any of the engine internals are the same or not. I would have to look at some part #s on them to be sure. Hope this helped some.

My guess is that they thought it was a prank call. I mean all you have to do is look at the bikes to see that the seats are different, the fairing, etc.
Right?
