I have an '07 1000RR with a blown engine. I just got an '05 1000RR engine and was wondering if they can interchange. The mounts are the same and the '05 engine seems to have the same hookups for all the sensors and wiring. If I use the '07 ECU and harness with the '05 engine will it run OK? I know there are some internal differences between the two but I can't seem to find out if this setup will run.
