Default 05 1000rr

was up,
I boughta 2005 cbr1000rr a few days ago, and have been nursing it back to health. (will post pics soon)
I have come across a problem with the turn signals.
they dont work. i have checked the fuse and its fine. the horn, and tailight work. but no signal action.
i do not have the hesd hooked up. would this cause the problem?
anything would help.

Have you checked the wiring, trace it back to the bike and see if there is a cut in wiring, does it have flush mounts or stock turn signals, whoever hooked them up may not have known what they were doing.

Well im assuming it crashed then yes? Maybe the bulbs just broke/burnt. Get a test light and see if your wires are hot before you go too far.

make sure the wires are plugged in fully (behind under the tail section)

plug the hsed IN.. SOMETIMES there small glitches that are all related to each other

heres a pic~ ill get better ones once i fix a few more things...
I'm still trying to figure the wiring out. it has flushmounts, hotbodies in the front... (so ive done the 'search' on how to wire them up)
For some reason when i engage the turnsignal switch. nothing happens on the indicator display, and no action in the front and rear signals as well.
could this problem maybe be the signal relay?
i did plug in the "gpr" damper adapter, so i got some HP. back!
the search continues... laters

well; when i got the bike, it didnt have the licence plate lights hooked up. the turnsignal lights were all hooked up.. i didnt really put two and two together before i started hacking away at the wires. ill try hooking everything up and see what happens.. i hope its that easy!
