but buying a 1200 sporster then putting $5,000+ into it seems nuts and $20,000+ for a complete bike. I think I would buy a MV Agusta or a Bimota, or A custon special something that works, maybe even an new Norton. thats 2 cbr1krrs
or 1 realy done up.
good info thanks again

and how about those $750 breaks?
The thing is, you would be the only kid on the block to own one. But not at 20 large.

RE: The worst bike you have owned.
My previous bike was a Hyosung GT650. It spent a lot of time getting warranty work done until I gave up and sold it. Definitely the worst bike on my owner's list.
Suzuki RG250 - old 2-stroke, but heaps fun - gotta love powerband
Suzuki GS500 - new bike, good for learning and mechanically tough as something tough
Hyosung GT650 - new bike, new brand forcing too much power out of too little engine
Honda CBR1000F - '95 lays the smack down!

RE: The worst bike you have owned.
Wound'nt be able to say that I've owned a naff bike but I've ridden a few. When I was in the army we had Armstrongs, which on the whole were not to bad. Just a bit on the heavy side and a pain in the rear to get started (kick start) thank god for decompression levers. When you finally got it started you were glad to be sitting on the seat. They were also a bit on the heavy side but saying that they were reliable, unlike their replacements being the kawasaki 250. At least with the armstrongs you had 500bhp to get you and all your gear from a to b, unlike the lightwieght kwacka which did'nt stand much abuse. Oh well, there always light at the end of the tunnel in the form of 1000f

RE: The worst bike you have owned.
My cbr1000f has no adjustment for the front end, heavy weight, and a less than stellar electrical system. I would have to say the CBR is the worst bike I have owned.
I have owned vfr's gsxr's,etc.
My old 1986 gsxr 750 would either smoke this bike or be very close.
off road, the honda cannot be beat. Onroad, honda is not very good.
