Default gittin' all productive and chit :-)

Might cheat Ern - use JBweld and a piece of right sized 1/4 thick flat stock and
sammich it together drilling the center hole through both pieces once cured
Between the center hole and the bolt going through it with JBWeld it's sure
to hold. leaving 1/8 " all round

Might be a damned sight quicker than machining the outer 1/8 'L" and the inner
piece can't be seem inside the swingarm anyhow. seems the easiest quickest way
to do it !

Plus I have 4 of these to make ! lol

edit : merge and bump &......... a beer

So this is what 45 mins out in the garage produced
inner plates get jbw'd onto the blocks and then drilled
thru' , spools eventually tapped on the side

If you want to be really sure. After you epoxy them up, drill a couple of discreet holes.
All of the way through both plates. Then get a couple of drift-pins and tap them in.

That will lock the plates from rotating around the adjuster-rod, once you've drilled for that.

It will add a very strong sheer element to the plates, since the spools will be creating
a rotational force because they are on only one side.

That's if I'm correctly understanding your design.

so now that I have the alum piece squared away - I'll resume this with the spools thread

My wife says I'm "psychotic". I think that's a good thing, right?
I've always wanted to read minds...

Sprock, It looks like I 'll have to take a trip up your way to drink your booze......I mean check in on you. I will drink all your booze....I mean check your design.

I still have your de-link brackets and can drop them off a some point.
