Default Work bench ideas?

Anyone out there have any work bench ideas? I mean a way to balance the frame while rear wheel assembly is together but front is naked... Thanks for any input on this

There are a couple of serious lugs that drop down from the bottom of the crankcase and finish just below the lower belly pan. A piece of decent sized lumber and a scissor jack should get you all set up; if I've understood your question correctly.

I use 100 x 100 cutoff's from my retaining wall posts. They're reasonably sturdy.

Thanks guys. The bike just doesn't balance well without the front end on. I am going to be putting the rear assembly back on in the next few days and was just looking to the experienced people to see how they have worked comfortably in the past.

i had to have the front end off 2 bikes at the same time and got creative, the first was hung by an engine hoist, but super unstable side to side. the second, had a cut down pallet so itd fit between the front and rear tire but still have all the length, with a couple pieces of wood to shim between the oil pan and the pallet, one wratchet strap made it stable side to side. worked perfectly

Nice! That's what I was looking for! The engine is also off of the frame so balancing is difficult. But strapping it down will work! Thanks!

If the engine is out then there must not be any plastic on it, if so the center stand and support under the front of the frame should do it.

When I have both wheels off for changing, it is on the center stand with support under the two lugs off the bottom of the engine. Don't use a bottle jack as they bleed off and she may take a nose dive.

What happened to the center stand? Mine has one.

Would yours just nose dive on the center stand?
