Default Where is this hill?

A bit of a long shot, I know, but this is for all those with European touring experience.
Does anyone know where this is (attached photo)? I suspect somewhere in the south of France.

Got ANY additional info? There`s precisely zero landmarks to start triangulating from, that could quite literally be anywhere from Patagonia to Pierrelatte...

There you go. That's how we can figure out where is by identifying where it isn't. I can say with assurance, "No place in Alabama, or Indiana for that matter."

Could it be, not Alpe d'huez, but that mountain that was stripped of all timber in WWI?
