wheel? widder?

RE: wheel? widder?
man, I wouldn't recommend it without modification of swing arm and replacement of original wheel with wider one.
If you place e.g. tire 180 on your thin wheel, then traction simply will be disturbed - especialy in the curves - and if tire's profile will brake down when your ear is almost scratching the road - I don't have to tell ya what happen then, do I? [:@]
maybe you can take the swing arm from SC24 together with wheel?

yes SC24 is newer model of CBR1000F (starting I guess from 1989) and it has wider rim for tyre in size 170/60-17.
But - treat it only as a suggestion before you do anything - you'll need detailed drawing or compare real values from connection points between your model and new one.

RE: wheel? widder?
hi bud i have a sc24 with a 170 tire i also enquired about the larger size and although u wont be able to increase in size until u make some mods to a sc24 swing arm which is from the 89 models onwards as mentioned earlier, it will effect the handling making it more difficult to go round corners meaning unless u want to start moving your *** allot in the seat i would consider whether it would be worth it just for the look of a big tyre (allot of work with no gain just a thought)
