Default What's shakin'?

my 94 1000f is! i took er out yesterday to burn the old fuel out and at 35-40mph, i took my hands off the handlebars and wow, the handlebars started shakin uncontrolably. my frt tire is almost ready for replacement, has 36psi and i have never has the frt end apart other than brake pads. i was reading some forums for other bikes that came up in Google and their fix was replacing the steering head with a tapered bearing instead of the OEM. i have no idea how long my bikes been this way, but i cant think of any reason for it. any help is appeciated! thanx

Could be headstock bearings ... but, I'd get that front tyre changed first .... Had a similar issue .... new tyre fitted n all good again

Same here. Tire took care of it.
I've had low tire pressure do it some, too.

Thanks for the feedback!

Always here the problems, don't always here the solution.

Glad to know it's fixed
