Hey all

You should know that I am dead keen on getting a CBR1000F.

One is available in my town - it is a 1994 with 50,000 km.

For those in Australia - what do you reckon its worth? The owner is asking $4500, which seems OK to me.

With the ozzy premium and those Klm's it seems like a fair price.

Just guessing as I'm from the UK though, so I'd wait 'till the others turn up

I purchased a 93 model at christmas here in Tassie for $1800, it had 61000km on the clock with all in good condition except for oil cosumption(I think it needs new rings and valve stem seals Honda dealer says $1500-$2000 for full rebuild) Saw a 94 model for sale at a bike shop in Launceston with about 50000km on it that had $4500 but was very rough to look at, hope this helps

 

It sounds like a decent buy ..... But the only thing that you should ask yourself is " Am I happy to pay that for it?" ..... Maybe you should go and have a good look at it and see if it's as good as it seems????
