What is this?
Need a little help figuring out what these parts are for and how they attach to the engine.
I've came across these two parts that I can't figure out where they belong. I think they are part of the timing chain tensioner. The bolt spacing is the same as the two inner head studs, facing the exhaust ports. These were removed by the mechanic that tore down the bike, so I'm pretty sure it came out of this bike.

Thanks for the pic!!
If it's not too much of a trouble, can you please take more pics of the engine. My bike was taken apart when I bought it and could use some pics of the engine as a reference. So far I've been using the manual and common sense to put it together but some close ups would help alot.

I think I got it! Did a quick Google search on the net and came across a page that had a write up, with pics, on how to adjust the vavles. Maybe it's someone on this forum. Here's the link and a pic of the part (it's supposed to be isntalled upside down). http://gonzo-home.com/images/cbr/small_IMG_5219.jpg. You can see the edge of the plate in the bottom right corner.
Here is a pic of mine after it's installed. It's a bit out of focus.
