Default Vibranator guinea pig

So I bit the bullet and purchased a set of vibranator bar weights, they cost AU$125 delivered. They came with a tool to remove the old internals of the bar as well (looked like a mini pulley puller). I have now removed my old foam slip on grip covers and went for a 20klm spin(bad weather here) and am pleased to say 'no numb fingers!' My fingers used to go numb on this same ride before, so it looks like they might work. I am going for a longer ride tomorrow to my mech's place to get the old girl rejetted to suit the wiseco big bore kit, so I will let you all know how they go on a longer ride.

Hey Jarvid,
that doesn't sound like such a big pile of spons to shell out for a product that could potentially have such a far reaching benefit. I hope your initial observations remain true.
Nice looking weights too.

So how is the old girl going with that big bored newly refurbed top end of yours going? Why the jet kit?

Henry, my bike blows a bit of black smoke then shoots flames out the exhaust at high RPM and the co2 meter showed it running very rich at all revs, low to mid revs were fixed by lowering the needles but the black smoke then cool flames were still about at high rpm due to unburnt fuel in the exhaust, theses probs will be fixed tomorrow.

Hence you clicking on it Steve! I thought much the same, but was pleasantly surprised by the content...honestly guys!...

The numb fingers thing is a real pi55er that ruins a good ride (I'm still talking bikes here!). Even after fitting VFR bars and foam grips, getting the carbs balanced and adjusting the balancer, there's still some numbness after a while.

Good thread Jarvid! Please let us know the longer term results.

Group buy a possibility?

Nice! My HVMP bar ends sure made a difference on my bike, sounds like you made an even better upgrade.
