update and few questions to help-help-help!!
thanks all for the input regarding my cry for help with my 1990 cbr 1000. someone suggested that with the salvage title it may be reconstucted, which was the case. I recently changed my stock signals and installed flush mounts and also some exterior running lights (here in the city, these crazy drivers i'm assuming dont see me coming along the side of them)... they will now! but as I did that, i noticed the rear of the frame had been welded on hence my problem. It may sound crazy, but to rectify the problem i had to not put the passenger bar on, but use those holes to put the rear-section in, and twist tie the passenger bar on a few inches up - i know, sounds crazy, but it worked!
Now, if only I can get my signals to flash and not be constant - any ideas/suggestions; i'm thinking that maybe somewhere along the lines of reconstucting that bike, the relay switch was taken off and not replaced - but thats opening a can of worms for me. Anyway, I repainted the bike and will add photos tomorrow.... stay tuned
last question - has anyone added frame sliders to their bikes? If so, could you recommend somewhere to get some, are frame sliders even custom for our bikes?
