Hi Harry!
We've had quite a few tire threads here lately, and there is a lot of good reading on some different types..
I have the Sportmaxx Qualifiers on at the moment, but I think they're a little too soft.
I've heard good things about the Michelin Pilot Road 2's.
Do a search and you should be able to come up with some good suggestions.
As far as having to change them both at the same time, you don't have to. If the front is all cracked up, though... (or cupped bad like mine was), you'd be best off changing both.

We've had quite a few tire threads here lately,
I use and are lovin ...Bridgestone Battlax BT-020 or 021's
and yer , in the perfect world , swapping a pair is the way to go...
but .....
As long as they are matched ...
one at a time is fine ...
and I think that just rhymed
Do a search on the Hurricane boards and you will get enough reading to give you a head ache..
