not the side stand, although that mignt help too, the center stand. it just has to touch the ground and wont kill the engine. I would just lean to the right and push it down with my left foot till it touched.

This usually happens in the early hours of the morning,so try doing your FIRST endo on the line and if you come to grief theres no body to see, get it right and you go home in the cold mist grinning.

There is a very thin line between bravery and insanity. I think that would cross it. There is enough danger is riding on two wheel, I don't feel the need to increase my risk factor. Besides that would be about 800$+ worth of plastics if I failed.

Spin the starter motor, works every time for me. The field it develops changes the inductance in the loop.

I had the same problem with the light at the end of my street until a state cop with a hog moved in next door. The sensor is now properly adjusted.

I wait, look and go.
It is to dangerous to sit in an intersection for to long.

These may work. It should trip the light, no road rash but tough on the body on the long hauls.
