It is a Pilot Power, my mistake. Still not happy though. Its pretty muched stuffed. Far to soft for me. It might stick to the road nicely but I need more mileage than it can give me. The bird came out with the BT021. I'll go back to them. Live and learn......

Pilot Road 2s grip well wet or dry and last. But, to each his own..I know how quickly these tyre threads turn ugly.

Yep, this last time around I had a hard time deciding between the PR2 and the BT021 (I actually had the BT ordered at one point...lol).
The only reason I ended up with the PR2 was because everyone said it had a little better wet traction and lasted a bit longer than the BT (which is why I was stumped when you reported low mileage). The BT was like $24 cheaper, tho.

No fight outta me, Dave.

Would "asshat" be a raise or just a call?

Since we're all talking about tires. What air pressure do you BT021 users prefer, front & back?

I like them hard so I run 38-40 PSI. Again its a personal thing and there are plenty of opinions on it I'm sure. If I am going away and loaded with luggage I'll whack another 1 or 2 pounds in.

For whatever reason, this particular bike works better with the front tire at a higher presure than I usually run. I've had the Dunlop 207's that came on it, and now have 'Stone BT016's on it now, and in both cases the bike handles WAY better with 37-38 pounds in the front... a pressure I've _never_ used in a front tire. I've yet to use 021's on this bike, but I have lots of experience with them, and I have no reason to believe the presure would be different with those.

The rear I run at 38 on these, and would on 021's or PR2's. It's hard enough to keep the tire round under heavy load (less flatting in the middle), and traction is still good.

That's interesting because I think the swing arm pressure sticker says something like 36 front and 42? rear???
