Tire Suggestions? (experts only please)

I ran two sets of AVON's that cupped badly. The 1KF will kill most any front tire but the tread pattern on those came to form small triangles in the most prone area and dished out at the point. I pushed them for about 8K miles but they were done. Last two sets have been Mich PR2's. Much better wear,11-12K with mixed riding. I can see the two compounds after about 4Kmiles as the softer shoulder starts to wear.

My PR 3s have 3500 miles on them and they totally rock. Best tyres I've had on her so far, by quite a distance.
Predictable in all circumstances. Pricey? Yes. Well worth it though if you want to get the best out of a fast corner. Dunlop Q2 would still be my first choice for absolute grip..... if you don't mind spending 3 times the amount on equivalent distance over a good road tyre.

Thanks for the "Cupping" explanation and pic.
Me I put Maxxis Diamonds on last year. Hard to give an accurate account as I added wider rear wheel at the time so went from 110 front 150 rear (cross plys) to Radials 120 front 180 rear so much changed .But 3.5k miles in they are wearing well, give good wet and dry grip. They run quite hot once warmed ,I do take a while from start off to get heat in before pushing them. They hold heat well too, after stopping 5-10 mins I still feel heat in the tires compared to mates bikes that are already cool to touch. Supposed to be a graduated compound change rather than two distinct compounds in bands ,have to say they feel very secure as you go over to the edge.

Also had PR2's and BT21's non of them have lasted for more than 2-3K miles, maybe because I always ride the twisties?
