This isn't an 88 model by the way. It's either an F or an L (circa 1989/91). Obvious by the registration she fell out of the crate in 1990.

For £300 you'd struggle to buy that Yoshi on its own. Just think of it as a free bike with the exhaust.

To my knowledge, black is not a standard colour so it looks like it's suffered a full respray at some point. You'll need to practice your plastic welding skills to keep the fairings in good shape but they are made of good quality material so not hard to repair. They aren't easy to find though so look after them. For the cost of new ones from Honda you may as well buy a new CBR. Yes, she needs plenty of TLC but then that's half the fun isn't it? As long as you've got a good engine this is a good bike to play with. Let us know how you get on. Welcome to the forum. Indeed, a history check shows 1 DVLA notified colour change. Its hard to see from the pictures, but it doesnt look in too bad condition. I am pretty good with fairing repair and plastic welding so that should be ok. All in all pretty standard stuff :) Thanks |
Good news, picked it up today!
Bad news, wasnt as easy to get it home as I hoped, more info later! |
