The F2 seems to have the ground on the rec/reg bolt according to the F2 wiring diagram. Ill check in that vicinity, just a matter of chasing wires eh! Thanks for the help Ed! Much apprieciated!

This was supposed to be the chassis ground... no idea what the previous owner did but I fixed these and now the guage works perfectly!!
