Sweater on top of...
Hi
Finally bought myself a leather suit (is that the word in English?)instead of a my textile one. Mainly because u cant go on track in textile and also leather is safer.
I went for a Alpinestars GP plus jacket:
http://www.grahns.se/popup.asp?bild=...torlek=Storlek: 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62, 64&inumber=434181&bild3w=500&bild3h=50 0
(u have to copy paste here)
and Alpinestars Track pants:
http://www.grahns.se/popup.asp?bild=...amp;bild3h=500
Reason for Alpinestars was that they had the "tall but not so fat" size B156 for the pants.
Now my question, as u can see in the photo of the jacket, it has textile stretchof the inside of the arms.
I tested this yesterday in +5deg C and the wind blew right into my arms
There is a vest inside of the jacket that can be removed but it doesnt cover the arms.
I searched on the net and found out that the spoiled brats in Stockholm uses a sweater with a hood outside of the leather jacket, anyone tested this?
Then I found that Halvarsson has made a sweater for this purpouse.

I was thinking more of a tight wind jacket. Anyone has a suggestion?

RE: Sweater on top of...
Hi Rhino...long time no see !
Nice looking leathers....remember back in 1990 when i got my first "big" bike, everybody on bikes drove around with a sweatshirt on top of the leathersuit. Probably more of a "modern in thing" but it makes a difference, i even today wear a jacket on top of my leather when the evenings are a bit cold.
That hood you were refering to should do it....keep the wind away fairly well. By the way didn't you have a Gore-tex "suit"...the jacket...can you take out the "inner textile that keep you warm" and only use the jacket outside the leather ?
About the Mälaren Runt ,it would be nice to join up for that cruise...i drove it the last year...plenty of bikes, people and eventsto look at.
