I do like that screen, too. Dam shame it's all f'd up now. But like you said, if you just keep an eye out on ebay (I'll watch, too) you should be able to come up with a good replacement. Do you remember who makes the one you like? Maybe we can keep an eye out for that specific one..

I've hit a couple robins and one dove so far. One in the shoulder, one in the knee, and one in the head. Luckily, none of them were hard, head on hits. Shoulder was worst, stung a little...but other than that, no damage or pain. Definately depends on where and how you hit 'em, that's for sure.

My friend broke the windshield in his mom's car once. He was giving some a-hole the finger and accidently put his hand into the windshield.
He went home and told his mom that he hit a pidgeon. They had to get the windshield replaced, and then the very next day he hit a duck and smashed the brand new windshield.
It was funny because I told him that she would never believe the pidgeon story because there was no way they would break a windshield in a car. (Still don't know what the chances are of a pidgeon breaking one).
A mallard duck sure as hell will, though.. saw that firsthand...

Thing is I went down the same road again , but didn't spot a carcass

It was waiting in the bushes with a headache and a really bad attitude,
and a bad case of the ***** !

In truth it probably bounced off at least 50 metres, so finding it would be a real chore, even if you wanted to. After an impact like that, it's a pie pigeon..........

I hit one, a sparrow I think, square in the visor at about 85/90 MPH - felt like a fist in the face !
