yeah well they're not exactly screamers below 3 k anyhow if she's idling smooth I'd wait
to "screw" with it until you stick the box on it and sync it up

OK I don't mind tinkering, my job only requires me to work from home about 2 hrs a day, so I am absolutely made of time. Hell if I can get it running perfect on the pods I might not even put the air box on there, we'll see.

Haha I am all the way at the other end of 95 from you, down in Florida. I dig this CBR a lot its the youngest one of about 15 bikes that I own, all vintage rides (is a 1987 considered vintage yet?), and about half of them are in some state of being rebuilt, so I don't mind working on it but yeah if I have it running right, then I get to play with another one

Haha yeah right, I stick to the big 4 Japanese manufacturers, except for one Jawa that I have which was made in Czechoslovakia. Let me think if I can compile a list...

87 Honda CBR 1000
85 Suzuki GV1200 (my main ride)
81 Yamaha XS1100
81 Kawasaki KZ305
81 Kawasaki KZ440
81 Honda GL1100
82 Honda GL1100
80 Honda CB750 Supersport
77 Suzuki GS400
78 Yamaha XS400
85 Suzuki GS450
86 Honda XR250
85 Honda Ascot 500
83 Honda Magna V65
69 Jawa 350

Pretty good memory huh? I didnt even have to get off the couch for that one...
