Default stock clipons

Are all the gens interchangeable? I seen some pics of 2nd gen clipons and they look similar but I can't be certain. I have a 94 and need to replace the left side clipon and wanna stay stock.

The best way is to check your part number for your year and then see the parts book for the year the part is from to see if the same.

93 0nward will all fit.
I think the 89-91 will too.
Not sure about the 87/88 bars though.

Hey:

That dosn't always work as Honda assigns a new part number for items that come in a different finish, shade, color or material even if all else is the same dimension or application. 89+ are the same for most all regions, some areas had a touring model in 90-91 that had Hondaline bags, a rack, and VFR bars and are about as plentiful as CBR750Fs, so chances are you won't find or come across one.
87-88 have a different twist and drop to them, as they were a little more sporty, but would work fine if you found a pair. Also if you can find a pair of VF1000R bars from 85-86 they are adjustable and will bolt right up and offer a great factory Honda alternative if found at a reasonable price on ebay or CL. Also VFR750F bars from 91-97 work if found as a pair as they give a better lift to many riders.
And lastly let me look as I may have a spare 94 lefty as I'm just a little ways from you. PM me and I'll see what we can work out if I still have a spare.
