forehead smack it -------......... hard would ya .......... no harder
As for Trout ......... can ya smoke that thing ?? cuz if ya can ....... you'd benefit from it
Well I 'm not driving to Westport for it (beautiful and all as Wesport is ) think I'll tap my
neighbor for some of that stock and give it a shot myself ...... I need projects and
practice with this new buzz box I bought ( aka arc welder for you Euro types ..Henry !)

32 ton wood splitter I managed to screw up ....something the mig
cuddna made strong enuff ...... now I'm getting real "gifted" with the
arc puddle .....even on light gauge steel

Cold. Hot will be on the other side I won't get to the rack till Friday night and Sat night. My concern is bolting the lower section of the rack to the luggage bolt holes. They don't look like they could take much downward weight (maybe a M4 bolt, not a M8-M10 like I would prefer)

Coming along well, I see.
On the welding thing... I only stick weld the big stuff at work (like hoe bucket big)
Otherwise, it's the old Hobart BetaMig. That thing is a beast. It's been beaten for decades and doesn't skip a beat. One tough machine.
At home, I use a Hobart 140 mig. I've had others, but it's the Hobart/Miller stuff from here on out. I've welded sheet with .023 and gas up to 1/4" with flux. Love that little welder. Once I got a quality 110 mig, I'll never go back to any of that other junk.
Oh, and auto darkening helmets. Now that's a sweet invention!!
