I got into motorcycling late. This is my first "sportbike". I still own this bike and love it. It is really fast and handles pretty well. The bike is much faster than I am. lol. It is a 1990 1000f with 53k on the clock. Here are some pics:


The track pictures are from 2011. I ride with Teampromotion who are fantastic. This is at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey.


Not too shabby for a 53 year old rider on a 22 year old bike? Looking at my body position, I realize I still have alot to learn.

She looks very tidy, we have a very similar story and my bike has just under 51,000 on there. Bought her at 37,000 so I've had some happy times

 

And that my friends is why we own them....you can take it to the track or ride her to and from the gap....nothing does it better.

 

Looks like a blast. Nice to see another NJ 1000f. I will have to check out Teampromotion, a track day would be like Christmas

 

Hey...share the video from the go-pro? I've mounted mine the same spot but for some reason when I throttle, there is too much vibration.

I still have trouble getting things to go where I want them on this site. I must be a forum tard or something. I need to find the best video (I have several of them)and then I will post. Thanks for the interest. Vibration was not too much of a problem; but I'll let you be the judge of that. Maybe you were going faster than I was. Things start shaking pretty bad when you get it over 100mph.

Did you shoot video with Go Pro Hero 1 or Hero 2? and what HD setting...Video plays smooth..
