what about these has anyone heard or know anything about these 2 pipes. if you have to re jet after these are installed. or how they sound?? http://www.laser-exhausts.com/cgi-bi...=113789.1002.B

I have an earlier version of these on my 96 Bought them about 6 years ago. They look very similar but they have the tabs on the pipes for the heat shields. Excellent fit and awesome sound, Stainless Steel. No rejetting required and I'm in Colorado. Still look like the day I put them on. Check my post, There are pics of the Lasers on my bike. I think I paid $550 for the pair delivered from Fosterrad-same place. Took a few weeks to get them from Holland. I think I'm the only one on this forum that runs the twin Lasers.
You won't be disappointed

I mainly want to lose LBS as well as gain some Chrome/Polished looks.

Removing your exhaust shields is a waste of time, and does nothing for the looks of the bike IMHO- have a look at Daniel_arg's bike - he has chrome on shiellds and pipes - very nice !
If you want more 'grunt' change sprockets to 16F/44R - and hold on !

Jeff, is there any way you could send me or post some better pics of your bike, it sounds like it looks pretty sweet. I would be interested in checking out some better pics. I do appreciate the information as well, it is difficult to find parts for these bikes,
i wouldn't trade my 1993 cbr for anything it is awesome and never had any trouble out of it.

i just want to make it look sweeter and stand out a little,

thanks again for the reply.

Shadow ,
now Daniels bike is exactly what i am looking for , chrome all the way , are those stock pipes he had chromed , ( is that even possible) it looks sweet, I am wanting to do that as well, but i figured i would get some chrome slip ons first then have the covers chrome plated as well. .
Any more information on this bike would be great..

Shadow is the man, This website is great, tons of information. its just great.

I am still wanting my wheels chromed but there is no where in arkansas who actually does it , i checked with some custom bike shops here and they all send theres tho Atlas in Houston, i guess to get my wheels chromed it would be around 600 dollar ball park.
oh well you make money to spend so i will start saving . and see what i can do .

Thanks again for all the information, and any other informaton on Daniels bike would be great. .

As far as I can remember those are stock pipes which were chromed by the previous owner.
Why not send him a PM ?
Look up Daniel_Arg in the member listing - he's a really nice guy and will tell you all about his bike - he loves his as much as we all do !
Thanks for the good words, appreciate it.
