Side stand failure..
My bike started leaning over further than normal. Thought I was just parking on an incline, but the bike was leaning at an angle with the side stand that I could hardly lift the bike.
Was afraid that it was going to be on its side when I came out of a store sometime. It also started shifting hard too.
I finally got around to looking at it and it turned out that the lower bolt had fallen out. The kick stand bracket had bent the frame so there was almost an inch gap between the lower bolt! (It was really bent out there) when I attempted to bend it back, I got the sinking feeling in my chest when you can just feel it LET GO COMPLETELY...
One of the nuts wended into the frame had dislodged. I ended up cutting large slits into the frame on the side of the hole like a plus sign. There I was able to take some wire and hold the nut inside enough to re-tack weld the nut in place and put it all back together and bend it back in place.
Moral of the story, CHECK YOUR SIDE STAND BOLTS. lol.
