Sea Foam?

It won't hurt it, Joel.
Certainly. It's also a stabilizer. I put half a can in and let it sit for months when I winterize my bikes.
Some people actually inject it directly into their air intakes and stuff, and it's recommended on the website. You can directly dump it right into carbs.
Is the stuff ok sitting in the tank & system for any length of time?

You may just be experiencing the ethanol in the fuel you are buying. That stuff separates and makes the bike run like crap. You can do as mentioned and run a little heavy amount and than go lighter. When my bike starts to act up on crappy gas I put a little in and she runs fine. Seafoam helps to stabilize the fuel and it will run better in general.

I recently put it in my crankcase, and gas tank. My F2 was much smoother. Ive got the carbs off right now and i poured seafoam directly into the valve area. Its been sitting for 2 days till i get a new throttle cable. But i can see the valves getting cleaner. pretty cool. I should have taken a before and after pic.
Try it in your car to. Freaking amazing

I have been using sea Foam for about 2 years now. I usually dont even measure the amount I put in either, and it hasnt hurt anything. The other gentleman are right. Sea Foam is also a fuel stabilizer.
The price of Sea Foam has went up about 2 dollars a can in the last year. Must be due to demand.
