Sea Foam?

Sea Foam?
To Sea Foam or Not? That is the question. Was choking her for a warm up before my ride today & she was idling fine with choke. Shut off the choke & she idled fine then started giving her some throttle to roll & she was very rough with light throttle (haven't had this feel in years). Then gave more throttle till about 30 mph & was still not rough going. So the ride was over before it started (77 degrees today). In the past whenever this happened it always turned out being the carbs/jets gummed up. Then ran perfect after having them cleaned. So my question is, instead of me paying a shop for a cleaning again & after reading all the threads about this stuff does it really work great?

i work at an autoparts store here in Maine. and i cant keep that stuff on the shelf! everyone wants it especially lobster boat captains and motorcycles. another thing to look into is called Startron. It also works really good. you can also try the Lucas tune up in a bottle. But really do try the Seafoam. I actually just used some Startron in my bike as well.

It should say right on the can how much to use. I would just go fill her up and then add the recommended amount. It's not like it's gonna screw your bike up if you aren't exact. (hell, you can dump it directly into your carbs....)
I think they recommend like 1oz per gal or something. I just dump a half a can in each of my 2 bikes.
