Unhappy A Sad Day

Well guys,

After careful review - I have decided it isn't viable to take my bike with me to oz - I'm going to need as much cash as possible when I get there in case it takes me a while to find a job.

I have listed my bike (And my car) on eBay

1991 HONDA CBR1000F-L RED No Reserve on eBay (end time 15-May-11 19:20:35 BST)

I will also be listing lots of other goodies over the next two weeks and will link to bike items here.

A short word of thanks to everyone on here - I have been involved with a few forums over the years and have to say that without ANY doubt - this has been by far the friendliest.

I will make sure I pop a little "How to" up with pointers for an engine swap and will likely still lurk on here, but for the moment my 2 wheel days are numbered

Ride safe friends

Here's hoping you'll get things sorted out down under Steve. Good luck with the sales and when it comes to it Bon Voyage!!

Don't be a stranger!

I don't think there's anything in the rules stating that you have to be a current owner in order to drop in to the Saloon, have a couple of bevies and talk some **** mate! Don't be a stranger...no stranger than the rest of us anyway.

There's plenty of our bikes around here too so, when you get settled, you can pick one up. A really good thing about the bikes here is that salt isn't spread all over the roads every Winter so there's bugger all rust.

Look on the bright side...there's a lot of good places here (as you know) and a pretty relaxed lifestyle can be found if you look around a bit.

Regards,

Dave.

You will surely be missed old Hamster !
We have enjoyed your company and I hope that we see you from time to time
even if you become a HERETIC and sell your baby.
If I was in the UK I'd buy it - I know how much love, time and effort went into that bike.
Damn, I hate saying sayonara to friends.......................
Take care and let us know when you get settled Downunda Steve
We're only a keyboard away.................
