Default Is this the right Rotella?

Is this the right Rotella, assuming I wanted (which I do) to stick with gen-u-ine dinosaur oil?

Yep also available in 5 GAL buckets at TSC

I actually use bulk TSC generic for all vehicles sometimes

Thanks for the info, gentlemen.

As far as I know, this '90 (with 18,000 miles) has had conventional oil used to this point. I've always understood that switching to synthetic on an older engine could cause problems; is that an old wive's tale, or a genuine concern?

^ That may have been a concern in days of yesteryear.

The Rotella-T6 syn that I find is only available in 5w-40 and I wouldn't run it in these bikes.

Why is that TBT? I've seen other threads on this forum where it's been highly recommended/regarded. Just curious?

I wouldn't run 5 weight in any bike let alone and older one with looser tolerances.

Wait, did you just call my bike 'loose'? I mean, I'll admit she's been around, but 'loose'?
