Riding My CBR Is Better Than...

Yer ...irritating is one word to discribe it Joe ..
Left my Home network open a week of so ago over night and every mongrel bastard and their dog seemed to have loaded bugs into my main system
Woke up , tried to re boot ...all I got was
" THE BIG BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH " !!!
8 hrs to re boot it successfully and get back into windows , only to have it crash every 2 minutes back to the BIG BLUE NASTY SCREEN!!
then ...
about 30 hrs of trouble shooting to try to save the drive ...
It has all my Web Master accounts , Designed websites , client details , work email storage and a ton of assorted business data on it ..
Still can't run the OS on it for more than about 5 min at a time , but from the new drive I can at least read the data on the old one ..
all a pain in the **** !! ....but om getting through it now ...

Maybe one of these days someone will invent a software that not only stops such intrusions, but send a terminal intrusion back to the source. That would be sweet.

Yup ...been using AVG for years on all my PC's Pete .. it is good ..
but its no good if you leave it turned off and the firewall down ...
I have got all the tools here known to man , but some of these bugs are bloody sneaky mate ... I am bloody good at all this PC bug catching chit but the ones that got onto my old drive are re producing ones that when you re boot , come back over and over and over ...
Even formatting the drive does not kill one of the bastards mate ..
Its called ( Security Tool )it's Malware, and it will not die ..!!
It takes over everything ..system controls, browser, stops anti viruses from running , stops any pages on the net to do with killing bugs from loading , try to delete or rename it and it crashes the system immediately ...chit this thing is a good read if you are bored ...
Its pretty new and even the experts are a bit bothered by it ...
All good now sortta though ...as I said I just put a second drive in along side and have it setup with all the tools to deal with the old drive with my old OS "not booted"....I will get the bugger by remote now ...

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had two "blue screens of death in the last 2 years - lost all my financials and everything else on the machines - lightning strikes will do that to you........
A Bug that doesn't die when you format the drive ?????
I didn't know that was possible...............
Chit has to be serious stuff.
We need to find out who could have done that to you, and why...........
At least it's fixed Mate, but what a bugger, eh ?

Yikes ..yu lost everything ....wow , I was'nt going to let that happen Pete..
10 years of Data !! nup I took over 8 hrs to salvage the drive back to life sortta ...
This bug that survives a format is one that hides between the partitions on the drive ...formatting will usually only clean everything between the partitions .. this thing is a creepy little chit !!!
Don't think anyone particular sent it to me mate ...was prolly automatically downloaded when my guards were down ...
I have over the last few mths down loaded a few Anti Malware cleaners to try and from what I have read , there are a chit load of dummy websites offering free trial downloads of some of the more common / popular applications ....and me tinks I downloaded a dummy one at some stage ...then when I stupidly left the Anti virus , fire wall and Malware protection stuff turned off ...it went and got itself ..
Its called "Security Tool" don't touch it with a ten foot pole mate !!!
Had hundereds of instances of another older Trojan bug called WIN32 Virut...hes a chit head bug too .... got most of him killed off now though ...

Sounds like a frickin nightmare PITA Steve!!
I keep meaning to buy myself an external hard drive to back everything up , I think you just convinced me it's a good idea!! Then I'd just take a hammer to it
To get back on thread , riding my CBR is better than.................GOING TO WORK!!!!!
Believe me I've tried it , surprising I know , but work is just no substitute for a good thrash on the bike

Is better than listening to those two Bitches Hawk-Trout going through their monthly
PMS routines ..........what a buncha pissy pussies. 2 real WildCats LOL
Bad chit with the Trojan that got into your PC there Steve......HiJackThis is the tool to
use in that case ......but use it carefully.......works good if you know a bit about
Windahs registry, services and dll's .
Stay away from certain torrent sites and search through google as it will
flag sites with autoloading malware and trojans.
Avast free is the best performing one I have found yet and recommend to
colleagues, friends and clients alike
Oh yeah I use GetDataBackFast to recover drives from crashes , fdisks , formats
and law enforcement data forensics..........if the raw data is still on the disk
even after the master file indexes , directory indexes etc are destroyed
this prog gathers up the raw data and with algorithms comuputes back the
indexes sometimes you lose the TLD top level directory name but the data
is always there.
If you ever throw out a PC always take the drives out ......drive a 6 inch
nail through it or throw it in salt water for a week ................otherwise
it can be read no matter how many times you format or fdisk it
Fdisk and format only remove index references to the data not the actual
raw data itself.
I have a zero sum formatter I use for that stuff that basically loads the
entire media to be scrubbed with 1 0 1 0 1 0 etc until full .....no way
back after that happens especially when you run it a few times.
6 inch nail cheaper and faster though
